The Area

Kaimeti or Linovrohi is a quiet settlement built close enough to the beach, which maintains its authenticity. Within a few minutes drive, there is the town of Eretria and the well-known tourist destination Lefkandi, where you can find many tavernas, ouzo places, and cafes.

The position of the island of Evia in Greece is east of the mainland. Although Evia is an island, access to it is not dependent exclusively on the weather in the air or sea because access to it is mainly done by road via the high bridge of Chalkis or the old bridge of Evripos, although in the south and northern part it is connected by the sea via the ferry lines of Eretria-Oropou and via Agiokambos-Glyfas or Edipsos-Arkitsas respectively. Its advantage, apart from the variety in the composition of its natural environment and consequently the related activities, is that it is very close to the International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” and the capital of the country, Athens.

Chalkida is the capital of Evoia with 60,000 inhabitants, built approximately in the middle of the coastline of Evoikos sea, and 20km to the south is located Eretria, a town of 4,000 inhabitants, connected with Attiki by the ferry line Eretria-Oropos. Oropos is located in Eastern Attica, 72 km. from “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport.

Both cities were important in antiquity and later years, and that is why there are a lot of sights and exhibits of museums that one can admire. Today, both cities are touristic places and well developed, offering clean seas and plenty of entertainment.
